A brief history of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railway Eau Claire-Superior line:

06/26/21

This through girder bridge crosses 6th Street in Superior.
Built in 1915, the bridge consists of a main through girder span and an I-Beam approach on either side. The bridge was likely built to replace a similar structure.
With these three spans, the bridge sits on concrete abutments and steel towers.
Overall, this bridge remains in good condition and is used lightly.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
